He has almost 20 years of engineering and marketing experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and two master’s degrees — one in biotechnology from the Biotechnology Engineering Institute of Bordeaux and one in marketing management from ESSEC business school in Europe.

Yana Zelmanzon

Product Sustainability Expert, Sartorius

Yana Zelmanzon is a single-use technology expert at Sartorius.

Tasked with spearheading new initiatives in product sustainability, she focuses on materials and circularity, aiming to develop innovative solutions and business models that drive value with sustainability.

With a master's degree in biomedical chemistry from JGU University Mainz, Yana brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Her career at Sartorius began in 2018 as an account manager, focusing on site development and sustainable growth partnerships. Yana's expertise spans the biopharmaceutical industry, encompassing sales, key account management, and research and development.
